Night of March 27 and Morning of March 28 I had a dream. And I swore to all the books in my collection, it felt so real. But remember this is my brain making it up as it is a dream but it can feel very real due to my over creative brain. Also my brain likes to use real places and people with events so this was the night and morning of my actual swim meet. This is also gonna be a lot of details on the volient part so you have been warned. The dream: I was at a swim meet, arriving an hour early like I always do, with practice starting in fifteen minutes. Everything felt normal-the noise, the water, my teammates. I swam my part in the medley relay, felt a strange pressure in my chest, but ignored it. We won first place. After the race, someone I hadn't seen in three years came up to me-my friend from fifth grade. We talked like no time had passed. For a moment, everything felt easy again. Until I noticed her. A girl standing just behind him, staring at me like I didn't belong there. When she called him over, something about the way she looked at me didn't sit right. But I ignored that too. Later, as I stepped onto the block for my next event, that same feeling crept back into my chest. I told myself it was nothing. Then everything changed. Someone slammed my head into the block. I don't remember hitting the water-but I remember seeing it. Watching myself fall, back hitting the surface before I sank. I remember the blood, the silence underwater, and then the screaming above. He jumped in after me. My friends from the stands rushes towards the pool deck. I wasn't breathing. I didn't move. I was gone for what felt like forever. Until I wasn't. I woke up choking on water, surrounded by voices and tears, my name being called over and over again. I thought I was going to die. This is gonna be a short story! So like 4 chapters or something like that!
