Iris Chapman is a college drop out, living with her boyfriend. Due to their numerous debts, Iris has to give into her boyfriend's demands and work at a company. She has to swindle one of the bosses in the company. Luca Michelson, a wealthy business man. Everything looked and sounded rosy at first. Until she meets Logan Michelson and everything changed. At this point she is scared that she made a very big mistake by agreeing to her boyfriend's plan.

But it would seem that Primus had other plans. Instead the pod was directed to the very planet where the war was. There, everything that Galaxy has ever learned about life will be put to the test. Especially when she catches the optic of a certain warlord, not for the first time, but for the second. Will she be able to show him love that he was denied so long ago? Or will she be pushed away?
