*ON HOLD* My name is Elizabeth Crawley. I am the daughter of Lord and Lady Grantham, sister to Mary Crawley, Edith Crawley, and Sybil Crawley. Sybil is my twin sister (we are the youngest in the family). My sister Mary is supposed to marry soon to my cousin Matthew. But it soon becomes complicated because Matthew loves somebody else. That "somebody" just so happens to be me, and this is the story about me and Matthew falling In love with one another. (Season 1- ?)

The worlds above and below stairs are entirely separate in some places. Some of my colleagues may be able to claim the title of friendship with the family, but to me they barely seem real. My family may say my job sounds as boring as anything, but it pays nicely, and I hear every little secret this house has. A retelling of the Downton Abbey series from the point of view of one of the maids. It might not be very exciting to read, but it's fun to write, so I'm going to continue. Hopefully. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters except Genevieve and her family. The characters of Downton Abbey are not my creation, but I may alter their personalities slightly by accident, for which I apologise. The story is also mostly not mine. Currently trying to figure out how to do this after I realised my way was really dull. Will be publishing more soon I hope.

She knows distantly her family is related to the high rank Crawley family but doesn't think much of it, Her father was a doctor and her brother is a lawyer. But everything changes when news arrives that Matthew is the new heir of downton. She knows their life is gonna change but for better or for worse? Julia and Margaret. Two women with the same family name with very different uppbringings and lives has changed in an instant.
