Laurence Ellis Levinson, the son of Cora Crawleys younger brother Harry and his wife Marie, had a normal happy childhood with his parents in America, until the robbery that was. The spring of 1908 was a though time for the young boy, between losing his parents and his left eye and being sent to live with his Aunt and her family in England, life was bleak. But he smiled, he always smiled through it all no matter what. Even becoming friends with one of the servants, and maybe over the years they would become more than just friends, maybe.

Ruth Crawley is the youngest of the Crawleys, and the most different. Struggling to find her place in the world, this story follows her through her journey of discovery, where not all is what it seems. Will include Robert/Cora and Mr Carson/Mrs Hughes mainly other than my OC Ruth. Mostly canon at the start but with my own twists :)

Everyone in Downton Village knew the Grantham. Lord and Lady Grantham were a very noble couple with even finer children. Lord and Lady Grantham married a while back and many still wondered just how Lord Grantham convinced himself to marry Lady Grantham. Some wondered just when the beautiful young ladies would marry. For Lord and Lady Grantham had not one, not two, not three... but four girls! 4 of them. Oh yes, 4! Mary, Edith, Lydia and Sybil. All with their discerning quirks and personalities There was Mary the eldest who was snobbish and elegant then there was Edith the older of the twins who was second best to everything by Mary and Lydia the younger of the pair always clung to her older twin, and then the youngest one Sybil had causes, and she gets too invested in the idea than the reality on how it would work out. Was it a wonder why the Crawley family interested many as well as drew people to them??

The worlds above and below stairs are entirely separate in some places. Some of my colleagues may be able to claim the title of friendship with the family, but to me they barely seem real.
