A Sydcarmy (the bear) apocalypse au. Carmen and Sydney are caught in the end of the world together after staying late at The Bear one night, which always felt like the end of the world, and the opening of their own little shared one. Carmen battles himself everyday, and Sydney struggles with self assuredness. Carm along with Syd, they'll have to battle more than their inner demons. They have to learn to live and survive together, and come to terms with things that may have been between them since before the end of the world ever began.

38 year old Sydney Adamu is tired. She has lost the love of her life, her business and now has to start from zero after years of putting all of her work, time and energy into becoming a success. 25 year old Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto is exhausted. He has lost the most important person in his life and now has to go back home to face all of the trauma that he had been running from. When they find each other it is like the stars aligned. They are everything that they need and are missing in their pursuit of greatness, however, Carmy's intensity makes Sydney question if maybe she should give up and look for stability instead. Realizing his mistake, Carmy asks Sydney to give him 1 year. 1 year to open their dream restaurant. 1 year to make it work. 1 year to be great.
