Her race has been hunted by Upir (what most of the world thinks of as vampires) throughout all of history. Her blood is a drug to them. It makes them stronger, gives them superpowers and like all drugs is extremely addictive. Elea was losing hope that there were any others left of her kind. She travelled the earth three times over and had not found a single Sylph. She was losing hope that she would survive. Then she found the Vargulf Gypsies (werewolves) and they gave her a new chance at life and love. Their pack became her new family. The universe however had different idea's for Elea's life.
