After Anabelle's mother passed in childbirth, her father brought her to live with him and his pack. But because she was born out of matehood, Anabelle was ostracized by her packmates; she was a stain in their pack history. At sixteen years-old, she finally went through the Change, but unfortunately for her, it brought on more than a set of paws. Rejected by her mate, Anabelle flees from the pack that made her entire life miserable, only to find solace with her estranged aunt. Peaceful years pass by as Anabelle learns what being a part of a loving family is like until an unanticipated menace rises up, threatening the existence of all werekind. As the fates of all who Anabelle cherishes hangs in the balance, her destiny is tied to a war she is unable to fight alone. She would have to go back to HIM and help prevent the deaths of weres everywhere. Where do you find the strength to fight alongside your worst nightmare?

Stiles looks over at me, "I'm sorry, why is she here? What are you?" I raise my eyebrows at him, "You make it sound like I'm not important. I'm as Important as the air you breathe. What are you, dumbass?" He gives me a sarcastic smile, "funny." "I'm afraid she isn't being funny, Stiles. She is a Sylph. Sylphs are beings of air so technically she is in control of the air you breathe." I throw my middle finger up at Stiles from behind Morrell, "Suck my dick, Stilinski." SEASON 3B BOOK ONE

Book 1 of the Land of Green and Gold Trilogy Escape. That had been Max's goal since the day he and his little sister, Lucy, had been torn from their mother and sold to a new master. A goal that would whisk Lucy away from the hard labor, skimpy meals, and cruelty of the taskmaster. But the opportunity never arose. Then one day magic-a thing of stories, of something humans had stifled long ago-returns, and all Elder are given the mysterious command to travel to the unheard-of Land of Green and Gold. Chaos erupts as slaves use their new powers to escape. Max and Lucy plan their escape as well. Night comes. And everything goes wrong. To Max's horror, Lucy is randomly selected to be beaten-a warning to those considering flight. Max escapes with his friend, Mary, instead, and they hide on the outskirts of the master's land to wait until Lucy is healed enough to flee. Then, a botched rescue mission and gun injury later, Max finds himself running even further away from his sister to rush Mary to a nearby Elder haven for help. During their stay at the haven, Max is confronted with a new problem; a chest-squeezing, cold-raking fear of the taskmaster hunts him. The hunt creeps into his nightmares and disconnects him from the shadows he should be able to control. And no magic means no way to save Lucy. As the nightmares grow worse and the arrival of a serial killer further complicates things, Max fights to grow in his powers and overcome the hunt of fear. He will save Lucy. Even if it costs him his life.

Also note that chapters 1-19 are being rewritten and will actually form the final part of book 1* Long ago there were humans and a magical people called Elder. The humans despised the Elder and enslaved them with the help of a magic-stifling stone called obsiterite. A generation later, the magic returned and the Elder have begun to escape their human masters, some choosing to walk alone, and others choosing to join a band. Along with this mysterious liberation of their magic, a voice prompts the Elder to go to the Land of Green and Gold. The two young Elder, Griffin and Fern, have successfully found and joined Moonlight Band. Life in a band seems quite peaceful, and Griffin is happy to be travelling toward the Land of Green and Gold with his new friends. Life is never perfect, however. This fact becomes painfully obvious to Griffin as a murderer within Moonlight Band strikes, loyalties waver, and the sinister temptation of selfishness arises. Throughout all this, Griffin must look not just at the others, but also into his own heart, to find and defeat the darkness within.

After the apocalypse caused by the Sylphs, Nyx must try and save her sister Rory from the cruel hands of the world.

I wrote this when I was in high school and took a lot of inspiration from Edgar Allen Poe. It was a short story based on a university my mother worked at as a terror story.

Follow Hazel and four others on a journey lined with secrecy and betrayals whilst also battling with hatred and self acceptance. And watch as the mysteries unfold.

A poem written for my Creative Writing class. The assignment was to mimic some aspect of another poet's writing style, so I chose to imitate the structure of Damh the Bard's song "The Spirit of Albion". I also entered this piece in the Upstate Eight Literary Festival and received an honorable mention for it.
