Traditions are sacred things; events that follow those who celebrate them, no matter where they are. For Claude and Byleth, a tradition from Brigid finds them and wraps them up in a crazy scheme beyond even Claude's comprehension: an accidental proposal and impromptu wedding ceremony. How will this couple navigate through this sudden turn of events? Will they call the wedding off and return to their normal lives, or will they express the feelings kept deep within their hearts? After all, the only people stopping their love were them. Find out in my mess of a giant Claudeleth fic, The Apple of My Eye. This fic is inspired by the old Greek tradition of throwing an Apple at someone and therefore proposing. I've always been a sucker for this, not gonna lie. While stopping the Adrestian Empire (and smashing Edelgard like the bug she is) is still his top priority, Byleth notices that Dimitri is conflicted, as though protecting his friends and civilians could somehow be more important than avenging the dead. Will his giant heart and bigger brain allow Dimitri to better recover from his hallucinations and survivor's guilt? Or is he simply doomed to be an even more monstrous boar than he was before?

But little does Ingrid know that she soon begins to feel certain things towards Sylvain, and doesn't know how to handle it. Sylvain on the other hand also soon begins to realize how important she is to him. So can the two of them put their differences aside and tell one another how they feel?
