{🏆🥈Versification 2026 Grand Daily Prompt Runner Up} Some stories don't end - they linger, like April rain on quiet days. 𝑨𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒂 is a collection of moments that exist in the in-between - where beginnings feel uncertain, endings arrive softly, and emotions refuse to fade completely. Each poem captures fragments of connection, loss, growth, and quiet realization, unfolding like petals that never fully close. This is not a book of perfect endings. It is a book of almosts, echoes, and afterglow - of feelings that stay long after they should have left. Step gently into 𝑨𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒂, where every page holds a piece of something once felt, and never entirely forgotten. This collection contains poems written for Versification by Wattpad Poetry Ambassadors profile @Poetry. ✎﹏﹏﹏﹏ ɴᴏᴛᴇ: If you are reading this story on any other platform other than Wattpad you are very likely to be at risk of a malware attack. Contains "Mature-r" Themes. This novel series serves as a temporary vessel for a derivative Canon-Divergent Conspiracy Series based on The Amazing World of Gumball, created as a divergent timeline from the original show. This series is meant to methodically and indirectly address one of TAWOG's biggest mysteries, this reality is set in a different time setting which is a few years ahead of the original continuity, featuring a different main antagonist that is yet to be revealed. Some chapters take inspiration based on original episodes from the canon, again, it's a divergent timeline. This book will be equivalent to seven volumes with 200 chapters in total, similar to the show's episodic pacing, with some connected plots from one chapter to another. This also pertains to the newest 7th season of the show, which basically culminates to seven volumes. All characters are humanized in a 2.5D combined with an Anime-inspired artstyle, with original, non-canon, and fanon characters introduced. Some of which are speculated based on the original lore. The setting for this divergent timeline would continue up to 2017, and to the present time. If you watched the 7th season, you'll get it. Floating timeline doesn't apply to TDWOG no longer, meaning that young characters like Gumball, Darwin, and other peers have now naturally aged up to their early-to-mid teens (13-16 years old), and late-teens for some, amplifying their personalities in a more matured ground. Non-canon/fanon characters introduced, an additional member of the Watterson family: Clark Watterson. Appearance will be featured in the first chapter. The rest of the Character Designs are yet to be revealed. | THINGS TO KNOW ‼️ → The original first chapter mysteriously disappeared (likely a glitch), the technical first chapter will be a little off-context → References featured ahead of the series' time → This is a "Slow-Burn" series → Gumball is STILL the protagonist (not Clark) Crossover... s

When Maria Frizridge discovers that her once peaceful town is having a parade by a passing circus. She was instantly filled with curiosity. Yet as the day comes to an end, she spots the very same circus in the forest just out of town. She approaches, expecting maybe a nice chat or maybe a signature. What she didn't expect was to get trapped inside it, or, more accurately, her mind. In order for herself not to fade, she works for the odd and mysterious ringmaster, Ron. Slowly, she gets used to the circus life, and maybe even finds sparks between her and Ron's companionship. But as she discovers occult behaviors, an impossible maze below it, and the increasingly weird things that happen around Ron. She realizes. Something is wrong with the circus. Something forgotten, something ancient. (message to Royal road staff: Yes, I'm the same author. Yes, this story will be on royal road.)

What if the place you were trying to escape from was the only place where you could finally find yourself? A girl enters a deep, frightening jungle in search of something she loves. She searches for it everywhere, but instead finds herself drawn into the darkness. Then she falls into a cave. She tries to leave. She is offered helping hands. She sees the world outside changing without her. But somehow, she keeps finding her way back to the cave. Until one day, she begins to see it differently. Maybe the cave was never just a cave. Maybe the jungle was never just a jungle. And maybe the thing she thought she had lost was never truly lost at all. This is the story of Makisha Makisho.

The Unsaid Truth is a collection of poems that invite readers to uncover what lies beneath the surface. Each verse holds a story-of love, silence, injustice, hope, and the emotions we struggle to name. The metaphors conceal as much as they reveal, preserving the mystery of the original thought. These poems were born from feelings not meant solely to be understood, but to be experienced. I began writing at the age of twelve. What started as scattered thoughts became fragments of my soul, offered to those willing to read between the lines... Every week a new poetry to ponder about and reflect.....

Book one of Three A dream. A mansion. Seven children who are not merely companions-but reflections. In The Lady in Oil, one man is pulled into a realm beyond sleep, where the boundary between the subconscious and something far older begins to dissolve. Within shifting dreamscapes, he follows a group of mysterious children through tunnels, swamps, and shadowed rooms-each passage revealing fragments of a buried self he does not yet understand. Each child carries something vital: a memory, a truth, a wound, a question he has spent his life avoiding. But the most enigmatic presence is the Lady in Oil-a dark, watchful figure who moves between worlds. At times monstrous, at times maternal, she is always unknowable. She does not simply haunt his dreams; she seems to be guiding them. Or shaping them. Who is she really? And why does she know him better than he knows himself? Blending psychological introspection with mythic symbolism and surreal imagery, The Lady in Oil is a haunting journey through identity, repression, and remembrance. It asks what it costs to become whole-and what waits beneath the surface when we finally begin to remember.

Welcome to Poetry Roughbook. Not every poem begins as a masterpiece, and this one was never meant to be. Poetry Roughbook isn't a collection of perfect poems. Instead, it's a notebook of crossed-out lines, midnight thoughts, coffee stains, and messy drafts where ideas bloom, metaphors wander, and words slowly learn how to breathe. Every poem in these pages is based on prompts shared by Wattpad's Poetry Ambassadors. Each prompt is an invitation to experiment, challenge my creativity, and discover new ways to tell a story through verse. Some poems are polished. Others remain beautifully unfinished. Together, they capture a journey of learning, growing, and finding beauty in imperfection - one prompt, one page, and one poem at a time. This is a place for first attempts, quiet victories, imperfect metaphors, and poems that simply wanted to exist. So, if you don't mind a little mess, a little magic, and a lot of ink... Turn the page. I hope these pages feel a little like home. All poems are original unless stated otherwise. Prompt credits belong to their respective creators. ✎﹏﹏﹏﹏ ɴᴏᴛᴇ: If you are reading this story on any other platform other than Wattpad you are very likely to be at risk of a malware attack. |SHORTYS 2026| When Riley Kendall overdoes it during band practice with his band, The Dreaded Miracles, he faces devastating consequences that will either help or shatter his career. *** Five years ago, Riley Kendall's life changed when he met Christopher, Conner, and Max, and they started a band known as The Dreaded Miracles, meaning there are "still miracles waiting for you, even if you have lived a dreaded life." Now, five years later, the band is preparing for their last concert on tour, but when Riley's past returns to haunt him, he makes a devastating mistake that puts the band--and his friends--at stake. Riley must now find a way to make it up to the band members, find love again, and try to save his voice. But when Death comes to take him away, he must choose whether to go with her or give life another chance. *** *A short story inspired by my favorite band and E.B. White's writing style.*

This is not a typical story. It doesn't have characters or scenarios, just myself and my own thoughts. It was a series of dreams filled with self-reflection and realizations about my waking life. As we slumber, we all dream, and those dreams often symbolize our waking state or the emotions invading us and influencing our decisions. Sometimes they reveal things we have failed to notice, with our subconscious bringing them back to our attention. A dream is our inner self's way of communicating with us.

Ever wonder what occurred between the death of Myrtle and Tom discovering that she died? Well, this story is the missing piece in the story telling you what happened between Gatsby and Daisy on the drive home. This Chapter is fanmade on my own depiction on what events took place in those timelines. If you do no the book it is The Great Gatsby by Scott F. Fitzgerald.
