Just some of my original work back when I was still in Middle / High School I remember in my creative writing classes, I would be tasked to write about different topics through poetry. The only rule was to not make your message obvious. I think that rule shaped my writing ever since then. I wonder what my old professors would think of my writing now. Hm oh well!
