It all began with a single radio interview, one that Maxky never imagined would alter the course of his university life. As a senior, he had little interest in anything beyond finishing his degree, let alone taking on the role of a campus radio DJ. But between an overwhelming wave of requests from listeners and a well-placed nudge from his professor, he found himself behind the mic. And just like that, Midnight Symphony was born. At first, it was nothing more than a late night obligatio, a quiet corner of the campus airwaves where he played music, shared his thoughts, and entertained passing conversations. It wasn't supposed to mean anything. But then, the letters started coming in. One stood out. A simple question, a personal dilemma. Amused, Maxky read it on-air and answered without much thought direct, sharp, and far from sugarcoated. He assumed it would be forgotten the moment the broadcast ended. But for Bas, the letter's sender, it mattered. Listening to the midnight broadcast, he felt his frustration spike at the DJ's careless words. Who did this guy think he was, throwing opinions around like he knew everything? Fueled by irritation and an undeniable curiosity Bas made a decision. He was going to find out exactly who this Midnight DJ was.

I hate those classic stories where everything falls into place the way it's "supposed" to. It's a bunch of bullshit fed to young girls to make them think that things like that can happen. I know better now that I've fallen for him and watched him suffer beneath the torment of a girl not worth anyone's time. It's hard to watch and I've stomached a lot from this point, whether he is near or far. I don't know what to do with myself though...and what happens when I can't take any more of his pain? What am I supposed to do?
