My true life story of suffering from a rare autoimmune disease of the liver, its diagnosis, prognosis, treatments, its debilitating impact on my life and how I learned, and am still learning, to cope with it day to day. Hopefully, this'll help someone dealing with something similar, because there is, in my eyes, not much worse than long term pain and long term illness, especially when there's not someone nearby who understands its debilitating nature.

Every year the boy from the hospital finds her on her birthday. He just waits. For what, Treasure doesn’t want to know. She has scars from their first encounter: bite marks. He cursed her. All she ever wanted was normalcy: her parents, her best friend, Aidan, and school. He ruined everything. When he insists what he did was a gift, Treasure just wants him to stop tinseling. With everything going on she doesn’t need things talked up, she needs reality. While she fights to keep it together an enemy fights to tear it all apart. Her life isn’t the only one at stake. New rules are in play, and they have nothing against killing. Treasure may not like the curse, or the boy who cursed her, but she’s going to have to work with them if she intends to survive.
