They tried to break me.
Locked me up.
Branded me a traitor, a rebel, a troublemaker.
But they forgot:
Truth doesn't live in laws - it lives in the heart.
This is the voice of someone
they tried to silence - but failed.
Who chose exile over betraying himself.
Who lost everything, except his voice.
And now, that voice speaks.
"I'm not a hero. I'm not a martyr. Just someone who refused to stay silent."
Slam poetry based on a true story -
about political persecution, survival,
inner freedom,
and how sometimes, a single word can save a life.
