Aang notices that so he tries to win her back but he doesn't realize that a certain earthbender has fallen for him. At the same time Azula is in the middle of her crossroads of destiny. Will she follow the footsteps of her father or choose her own path?

With Katara running off to Med School, Aang going to a new school, and Zuko doing who knows what with his life, where does that leave Toph? Book 3 in the "Changes" series. AU Taang, Zutara, Sukka Sorry, no bending.

5 years have passed since Fire Lord Ozai's fall, and the Gaang is making their way in the new world. Except Aang and Katara. She went with Aang, travelling around, through the hottest deserts, up the coldest glaciers, down the darkest caves. Not having been home for 4 years, she slowly loses her happiness, having no more roots, a sense of obligation filling the void. When she finally snaps, she finds her home in ruins, and her brother missing. With the South rapidly being taken over by a mysterious gang, can Katara find her brother fast enough and prevent another war from breaking out?

The gang escape the city on Appa with handful of other teenagers but leave behind the rest of the their invasion force to be taken in as prisoners by the Fire Nation including Hakoda. Katara and Sokka reluctantly agreed to separate from their father. Unbeknownst to them, a mysterious and pursuant lone figure clothed in fire nation attire followed suit in the hot air balloon with fire nation insignia. What will happen when Zuko catches up with them? Will they forgive and accept him as part of their group? Will Katara give him another chance? ___________________________________________________________________ Author's Note: Hi everyone, my story picks up after the Black Sun/Solar Eclipse Invasion, when the kids escape on Appa to the Westtern Air Temple and Zuko follows them to join their gang. I am also assuming that it has been 3 years since Aang emerged out of the iceberg, which means that the events of series/episodes prior to the invasion all took place within the span of 3 years since Aang returned. This suits my story as I have aged up all the characters in this story. The current age of all characters, where my story picks up, is as follows: Zuko is 20; Sokka is 19; Suki & Katara, Azula, Tylee & Mai are 18; Aang & Toph are 15 ***ACKNOWLEDGEMENT*** I DO NOT own Avatar: the Last Airbender, nor the idea and concept behind it.
