↬ Mi nombre es Valeria, edad 29 y tengo TAB. Sí, Trastorno Afectivo Bipolar. No, no soy bipolar y explicaré esa diferencia que es demasiado importante, ya que hace que gran parte de la población vea este trastorno como una característica de la personalidad de las personas y no como una enfermedad, por ejemplo: "¿Oye, que te parece la Fran? la verdad es una tipa simpática, super sociable, canchera, buena para el carrete, pero media bipolar". ¿Media bipolar? En primer lugar uno no es medio bipolar, se padece la enfermedad completa. ¿Por qué para mi es tan importante hablar sobre esto ? Porque, cerca del 5% de la población mundial tenemos TAB y muchos suicidios se vinculan con personas que nunca se trataron o comenzaron demasiado tarde su tratamiento. Y claro si no ves el TAB como una enfermedad es difícil que pidas ayuda, hacerlo en el momento adecuado te puede salvar la vida, ya que cerca del 55% de los que padecemos esta enfermedad alguna vez hemos intentado quitarnos la vida o al menos lo hemos pensado. Por este motivo pido POR FAVOR que, si ves a alguien que tenga características relacionadas a este trastorno, ofrece tu ayuda, podrías salvar una vida. ↫
