Makoto had just returned to Japan after studying abroad to become a professional swimming trainer. But on his way home, he saw Haruka-the person he had been trying so hard to forget. A one-shot story about Makoto Tachibana and Haruka Nanase from the anime Free!.

The territory line was the only thing that kept the merfolk of the Iwatobi clan safe from the shark-folk of the Samezuka clan. There was a strict rule in the clan never to pass it, though, that never stopped Makoto and Haru.

However, ever since witnessing Matsuoka Rin's defeat by the hands of Nanase Haruka, and the reaction it caused upon the former, Heisuke has become a bit vary of competitive swimming. Not to mention, the drastic impact that Heisuke had witnessed upon her best friend, Haruka. Heisuke hopes to have a normal high school career with her best friends, Haruka, Tachibana Makoto and not to mention, Hazuki Nagisa. But what will happen when their childhood friend Matsuoka Rin finally makes a return in Japan?

But then one day, things take a total turn as one of the members catches her and as she's going home, she bumps into someone who also knows how to swim. Taking advantage of the situation (and her cracked phone screen) she convinces (*cough*forces*cough*) the guy to teach her how to swim. Little did she know this boy was non other than Matsuoka Rin - her friend's brother and the captain of Samezuka Academy's swim team.

Since (y/n) being middle schooler in Iwatobi Middle School, she being curious about 4 boys in her school, same as her 1st year. The four of them really being dramatic over swimming club, but (y/n) find it interesting. Especially because she used to loved swimming. But the story isn't over in middle school, it's still continued until they went to college.
