Caine doesn't understand the complexities of any of his performer's human emotions and where their existential crisis might be coming from , until he's one day hit with a huge train of awareness that he wasn't expecting. Caine starts to think that something's wrong with him as things start to take a turn for the worst!!!

Maya, a married 23-year-old mother of two girls, ages 3 and 6, had gotten used to running on empty. Life had been a blur of mess and exhaustion recently, the kind of exhaustion sleep wouldn't fix. She loved her kids and her husband more than anything-but even that never quieted the constant feeling that she was falling behind in a life she never fully caught up to. Every morning felt off. The exhaustion and the cocktails from the night before never wore off in time. But this morning felt wrong from the start. The house was too quiet, the air was too still. And then there was the headset. Sitting on the table like it'd always been there. Maya knew it hadn't. Nobody mentioned it. The kids wouldn't touch something like that. Grant would've said something about it. But the small green light flashed steadily, like it had been waiting. She told herself she would just look. Just for a minute. After all, what else was there for her to do? Maybe this would give her a chance to escape reality. Maybe just for a minute.

An AU of the amazing digital circus that I made to cope with this series

Y/N is a pretty popular girl among the students of her college. After losing a bet, she's dared to explore an abandoned building by herself. She wasn't scared at first, but the place looked too good to be abandoned. After a while she reached a room where she found a computer: it was still on, which was surprising because she didn't think there still was power running through the place. There was a weird looking headset laying on the desk beside it. She had never tried one of those, so of course she picked it up out of curiosity, blew some dust from it and put it on. The next moment she found herself standing in a cartoonish-looking world, trapped into the body of a pierrot clown. A certain rabbit boy, blocked in The Amazing Digital Circus just like her, helped her accept her fate and make the most of it. A slow burn between Y/N and Jax, where she slowly figures out what she feels for her friend, while still not being able to forget the abstracted frog, Ribbit, who haunts her memories. What happens when they stop pretending? (I don't own any of the characters except for Y/N's design, everyone is from The Amazing Digital Circus. The storyline follows the show, mostly, with some additional changes. Story belongs to uryyvity. It may include some non-confirmed TADC theories that i strongly believe.
