Seventeen year old Cassie Matthews has been branded the typical 'nerd' since fifth grade. She's never given a second thought to how she looks or what she wears. Desperate to get into Harvard, she devises a brilliant - albeit crazy - scheme to set her essay apart from any one else's. In a frantic attempt at securing her future, Cassie is willing to spend her last year of high school miles from home, in a foreign town with strangers, pretending to be the typical 'dumb blonde'.

Thomas, a teenage boy, rescues hundreds of tadpoles from certain death. Within the walls of his peculiar garden, he builds a pond where they can thrive, takes care of them and shields them from all kinds of dangers. Narrated from the perspective of an albino tadpole, the story follows the amphibians' adventures within the pond and, later, throughout the secluded garden. But as they become aware of their prison, some begin to wonder what lies beyond those walls. Will they risk escaping the confines of their new home, or will they remain within this glimpse of real freedom?

I hope you will enjoy my spring animal poem. Although it is told from a child's point of view, some of the language is rather colorful and the animals have been given human traits.

When the United States Navy fails to prove after 5 years that a female would be able to pass all their training and earn their trident and claim the title of a Navy SEAL, they come up with a plan to keep the press and the public off their backs. It's risky and a lawsuit waiting to happen, but will the benefits outweigh the risks? Tanner Harrison has led a relatively normal life, save for the fact that she is secretly obsessed with the elite special operations group, the Navy SEAL's. When her 5th birthday turned out to be the biggest terrorist attack of the 21st century, she knew she had to do something with her life. After training for nearly a decade, she's given an offer of a lifetime that to her would be insane to turn down but on the same token, insane to accept. How will the Navy SEAL's deal with having a 15 year old girl among their ranks? How will Tanner deal with the pressure the US Government and Special Operations Command has put on her? Will she earn her trident, or will she fail like all those before her? Read on to find out!

A story of high school, education, relationships, and growth. It's a new semester at the Korean Institute of Global Education, a private high school where only the most intellectually rigorous are accepted. Three freshmen launch into their new lives: Lee Haejin, an idealistic, poetry-quoting homeschooler; Choi Sungjoon, a lazy, happy-go-lucky player of games and girls; and Koh Min, a paragon of brilliance who suffers from his parent's constant comparison of him with his late genius brother. When they meet a charismatic fellow student Joo Jungseok, their lives intertwine - until dire rumors surface and the three can no longer be blind to the long-buried problems that threaten to swallow them all... * The COMPLETE story of Tadpole Pond can be found at Radish Fiction, a mobile publishing platform :) * Feel free to contact the writers (any questions about TP, feedback, publishing inquiries) at tadpolepond2016@gmail.com

But when some girls enter the woods at night, they don't come out. There's something in those woods.....something that has been there for as long as anyone can remember.....but the thing is, no one knows what it is......and it is the very reason that those who go in alone at night, don't come out.......
