Sean and Kaycee had been friends for a long time. One thing they had never done was dream of dating each other. It was almost forbidden, in their book. They never saw each other that way. But when they are chosen to work together to choreograph a dance for the concept of "Boundaries," they open a new door.

"Kaycee this is Sean Lew. Sean, this is our good friend Kaycee Rice," Gabe says to me and Kaycee. "Um, hi," I say to her. Waving extremely awkwardly. Oh, Sean. Always making a fool of himself. "So, are you new here?" she asks. "Yeah, fresh from Walnut," I respond. Man, Kaycee Rice. Dance Sensation. Talking to me like a normal person. How do I act? What do I say? Why am I feeling these feelings? This is getting a bit weird... And the fact that she's still wearing the necklace isn't helping. Kaycee Rice. The dance phenomenon. The it girl. Sean Lew. That cool new kid. Yet, an amazing dancer, no doubt The two are paired together. Will it be total chaos considering their dark pasts or will their intense chemistry and connection pull them through?

Kaycee Rice and Sean Lew were soulmates..or they were supposed to be. When they were 15 and 16 years old they lived right next door..Kaycee saw him through the window and immediately thought he was cute. They met at a dance class and then they just hit it off..Sean then asked her to be his plus one for a party.. of course she said yes..the rest was history. Sean left without saying goodbye and ever since then they have never spoken. Now, 5 years later they barely remember each other but they do both wear their dog tags every day as a little memento. Kaycee got accepted into the University of Florida so she's moving away..just like Sean did. She had to choose between majoring in dance or acting..she has always wanted to be an actress but she's always danced. Acting..It was the right path ..and maybe it was the path to find her soulmate..again

And no one seems to now the reason why they hate each other so much. But what happens when on Kaycee's 17th birthday her and Sean's parents announce that her and Sean are getting married?
