Story about Y/N being a tsuguko of a hashira, Muichiro Tokito. Her ancestors have invented a new breathing style, Mist breathing, but her family is being brutally killed by a demon at young age of five. But, Urokoudaki Sakonji has been in her village, yet not in time to save other villagers but in right time to save Y/N from having the same faith as the other villagers. He takes her as his own child and secretly raises her, far from the look of his students. Him being a multitechniquer taught her Ice breathing, although he thought his other students water breathing. That fact leads to a deeper secret of her life that leads her of killing Kibutsuji. In that mission, she almost gets killed by protecting her friends, but somehow survives. Even if she is a tsuguko, her wish of wanting to protect humanity, leads to Muichiro have feelings for her but doesn't know if that is true.

After years of growing up in the care of Urokodaki sakonji, Mayumi Tomioka wanted to follow in her brothers footsteps and become a Demon Slayer. Getting saved by the Love Hashira during the mission and becoming her Tsugoku meant she was one step closer to becoming a Hashira and making her older brother proud. One day, she gets taken on a mission with the Mist Hashira and from then on she became the one thing he couldn't forget. No matter how hard he tried, her face always lingered in the back of her mind.
