Hamaguchi and Houjou see each other through a glass darkly. Little does Hamaguchi know, his failed confession would cause a considerable shift in their individual and shared identities and their perceptions of one another. The Summer Festival has just ended, Nishikata's and Takagi's bond is stronger than ever before. After having just found each other, what do they do when something threatens to separate them forever? Author: A bit too late to the party, I know. I began writting this for fun before s3 was announced and decided to post it now, but some events of it are mentioned in some chapters since they happen in the manga. Can Nishikata find the perfect chance to give Takagi her present, and make her his girlfriend? Or will Takagi get tired of waiting and force things to go a little faster? And what curve balls does fate plan to throw them along the way?
