This is going to be more of a lore book of Destiny and Destiny 2, running from the Traveler's first sighting, to the invasion of the City conducted by the Cabal and Dominus Ghaul. All rights are reserved to Bungie, owners of the Destiny franchise. This is merely a lore book for those who have not caught up, due to those damned Grimoire Cards. I should also mention that this was mostly based off of My Name is Byf's lore video about Destiny and Destiny 2. Check it out. And, this book will continue to expand with release of further content to Destiny 2. A year after the death of Cayde 6, a Hunter named Soren is working on being the next Hunter Vanguard. Though one day, he meets a rebellious and friendly Fallen Vandal named Elykris. They both befriend each other, but their bond becomes closer and closer by time. This attracts the attention of others, especially the House of Dusk, from which she was formerly in before her rebellion. While events unfold, the Taken and Hive are planning something...

Two years passed after David Vasquez saved the Last City from the likes of Upgrade and since that time many things have changed across the planet Earth. Oryx, Crota's father, has come to this solar system with one goal in mind, Revenge. He seeks revenge on the Guardian who killed his son with his own sword; Crimson. But Oryx and the Hive aren't the only army that seeks her. A few familiar faces dread upon revenge as well... On the other hand, Trials of Osiris goes live and Guardians celebrate the Festival of The Trial by Fire at one of the 4 Towers that stand in Earth; Africa, Scorch of Dusk. SRL, Trials of Osiris, and many more for all Guardians and Citizens to attend and participate. Celebration goes wild with joy, but that doesn't mean it can't disappear. When Oryx The Taken King rips time and space, to travel another universe, another Earth and discovers Mankind is populated with superpowers known as "Quirks" a power only a vast majority possesses. Upon his discovery, Oryx decides to "Take" them and expand into his new army to avenge the death of his son Crota. The pro hero's of this world has never faced an enemy like Oryx. After the Taken King fell, life at the tower for the Guardians returned to its usual monotony. Medals were issued, speeches were given, and the Traveller blossomed with light. But peace was not to be. Months after Oryx escaped his demise, Guardians begin disappearing from patrols without a trace. The darkness is rising once again, and the whispers that were silenced with the Taken's destruction are beginning to stir again. As if to make matters worse, the Dreadnaught has disappeared from Saturn's rings. It all points to one impossible conclusion: Oryx has returned.
