A coming fog of darkness led by The Good Man and his Takers threatens to snuff out their light in the night. The parts are short with most around 1,000 words (except for the first part which is 2,000ish words.) I had a nightmare one night and tried to write down what it was about. Unfortunately when I woke up in the morning all I had written was "The Takers are in the backyard." I came up with this short story as I was trying to remember what the hell I had dreamed about last night.
