Everyone has a dream. Skylar dreams of a world where she can talk to people normally, without feeling nervous at all. Ashbel dreams of a world where she can create her own music, for thousands of people to enjoy. When the two girls are paired up for an English assignment, they become friends. Close friends. When Ashbel finds out about the school talent show, she convinces Skylar to join. The result will lead to a world of music, talent, and big names. Will these two girls from a small town find their place in this new land?

Brooklyn, a 22 year old student decides to audition for X Factor in 2012 which turns out to change his life and follows his twists and turns through navigating his new found stardom. After success with a band called Mixed-Up in the late 2000s, his solo career couldnt get off its feet so he tried out for X-Factor. Sierra, is Brooklyns flat mate. At only 19 she has already auditioned for the X Factor twice before but decides to go for it again. Her career started off well but she died out going into returning to the X Factor in 2011 and then she decided to give it one more chance in 2012
