Tales of Eylisia R is the recreation of the original game, it takes elements from the old novel version and expands on both new and old ideas. For almost thousands of years, a legend spread, one of a Savior who protected the world against the darkness inside human hearts. Daisuke Hiroyuki, a young man with amnesia, is the new Savior, but he doesn't remember anything about himself or even knows what his mission is. He is pulled into a story of betrayal and hatred; forced to fight the ones who were considered heroes years ago and must stand against the ones who the world trusted as their guardians. Growing wary, he must shed the light onto the darkness and free the world from its pain, but there's one thing even his friends aren't telling him: that he's a fake. The more he sees in the world, the less his resolve becomes. He wants to save the world, but at what cost? There's a darkness lingering in the world; the darkness within his own heart.
