Submission for the Historical Fiction Smackdown, Round 1.1. The sixth: A young warrior is confronted with a fate worse than death to preserve the glory and beliefs of a doomed army. The seventh: I relate to my readers the personal story of the young offender who managed to steal the fabled skeleton key before getting in trouble with the law. When they go back to Sweet Water High everything is completely great, well great for high school. But when November comes that is when the problems start. Luke starts to ignore Heidi. And Halloween makes things get even crazier. Is their friendship falling apart? And what happens when Heidi starts to see Monica around her small town? Who are the 2 mysterious new girls? And for Heidi how will she juggle soccer, high school, and mermaids as if being a teenager isn't enough?

There was a perfect spell to celebrate the new year. Yet, it was missing one special ingredient. 💧💧💧💧💧 This short story is for the New Year's Fiesta 2022 contest. The writing prompt inspires it: "It's New Year's Eve, and your character ends up having the most memorable start to their year. But first, they need to obtain a mythical mermaid's tears."

It is five revolves of the soltaire, since Morg and Ethos had their run in with the Mad Queen. They are still in need of answers as to how to secure a great ahead, without the mating with nghoza madness and set out on a journey to find and friend Nepulus, a kind of king to all asperini. Their journey is long and they will endure many obstacles along their way. When they embark on a hidden cave, they soon discover they have found what they all need. When seventeen-year-old Liam Bainbridge sees something wrapped in a fishing net on a sandbar, his first thought is that some poor creature had been caught up by a fishing boat. Feeling the need to help, he jumps into action. It isn't until he releases it that he sees that everything isn't always as it appears. The fin doesn't belong to a dolphin or a seal, but a strangely beautiful girl and she's badly injured. Liam is soon pulled into an incredible mythical world he never imagined was real.
