Karl had gone through many places and timelines but he finds one that has trapped him in a time loop. This time loop gets sadder and sadder as time goes on. In this first part he is on his way to the masquerade ball!

Karl has been missing for months, due to time travel. He has forgotten many things...even his fiancés names, and..his own name. Will he recover his memory? Will he stray from the path? It was all due to one travel, the maze...it was the last of his memory.

Now taken over by the Subbin Empire, the City of Mizu once housed a hundred or more residents, most being scholars and historians. The city had four underwater sections, each containing a thousand people. One was a museum, possessing the rooms of noble characters that fought during The Great Disc-War, though many land-dwellers often mistook that for the grand city itself. The City of Sui would often use the museum for school trips from around the ages of eight to ten. This would be one of the few chances of leaving the city before adulthood, those trips stopped after the disappearance of a few fishermen. An incident confirming once presumed rumour of mass murder, true. A year later, the Subbin Empire has gained power over the city leaving no information of the residents since. Karl is slowly his memory and himself but he hasn't told anyone why or what's going on, his fiancé's are getting worried for him since he's slowly going off somewhere for long amounts of time but when they try to confront him he brushes it off and changes the topic but what happens when they finally find out the truth? What will change and what won't? What will happen when Karl slowly disappears for longer amounts of time? This is based off the events from the DreamSMP and Tales Of The SMP, non of what I write is canon but based around canon, I am not shipping the irl people but their mc skins and characters, pls don't give me hate because I cannot handle it, thank you :)
