1 month after Shepard sacrificed herself to save the entire galaxy, the Normandy lies dormant on an uncharted jungle planet. The red wave of energy fried most of the Normandy's systems, and EDI has been unresponsive. In Shepard's absence, Garrus has begun taking a leadership role. trying to send out a distress call, a civilian cargo ship in the next system over heeds the call. Upon hearing of the Normandy crew's finding, Admiral Hackett relays a message. Shepard's body has been found. Any and all criticisms are very welcome, I'm making this story out of love for the characters.

After years of the destruction of the Reapers, everyone moved on and accepted that their commander was dead. They finally decided to go out and stay around the Citadel where their last party was. That was before Kaidan got an email from his dead girlfriend, Commander Shepard, requesting him to meet her near the docking bay by the Normandy. He makes the hard decision and listens to the email, which will possibly make him regret it later.

Summary: After saving the galaxy, FemShep and Tali settle down to a quiet life together. But their pasts continue to haunt them, and they must learn to rely on each other to overcome the challenges they face.

We never saw Ziva's body... Rule #1 of any show/book/movie is that if there isn't a body, the person is alive. Even then, it's debatable. So this takes place when Tali is a little bit older.
