Not every hero advertises...
It's been said that eventually, every person becomes the star of their own story. Now, I don't know if Silver Jack would agree with all that, for he is much too humble to ever seek such fame or notoriety.
Born Johnathon Langston Jefferson, Jack walks through the world with a quiet confidence, believing that no matter how high or low he gets, no matter what trouble he finds himself in, the measure of his life will be his testament, demonstrated by his own mighty deeds and actions.
He would blush if he knew I was sharing these chronicles with you. But, every Folkteller is honor-bound to tell the stories that must be told - especially the ones about giants, pirates, monsters, demons, and old, undiscovered magic.
If I know Jack, he'd probably prefer these stories were sung, but that's his way, not mine. I'm just proud to be able to capture some of his incredible adventures for you within these pages.
Of course, you don't have to take my word for it. Go ahead, open the cover, and see for yourself...
