"Obsessive Love Disorder" While not a mental illness within itself is a symptom of other mental illnesses, such as borderline personality disorder or bipolar disorder. What it is basically about is that a person with said symptom has a chemical imbalance in the brain in which their dopamine is low and thus (a) person(s) help increase that dopamine, and like a drug, said symptom-holder gets addicted to them to various extremities. As a person with borderline personality disorder, I'd also like to clarify, the games/shows aren't real. There are many variations of obsessiveness, some can be platonic, although it usually is romantic, however this story will be set with platonic obsession. Also, yes, you can be obsessed with one or more people P.S. Sorry Ross and Zubin fans!
