Dick was 20 when he was kidnapped. No one knew where he went. What happened. He was just... missing. He is 22 when he comes back different. The Court of Owls also seem to have been killed. No surviving members as far as anyone can tell. Not that that's related to anything. Or Dick was taken and made into a Talon by the Court of Owls. He doesn't tell anyone what happened. That does not stop them from finding out. Characters and art not mine.

Siebren de Kuiper, or 'Subject Sigma', also simply called 'Sigma', was a famous astrophysicist that became insane after limited exposure to an artificially created black hole. This exposure also gave him gravity manipulating super powers. After he was quarantined in a secret government base due to being deemed 'dangerous', a villainous organized crime group known as 'Talon' broke him out, manipulating him using the powers of a hypnotic melody that weakened his powers, along with making him a mere puppet to Talon's forces. Without him even being aware, he was turned into a living super weapon. However, one day, after the melody's momentary failure, he escapes Talon's base and manages to remove the headphones that played the melody, effectively setting himself free.
