Tamaki is very tired from fighting, and when he gets back home, he returns to the warmth he knows as Mirio.

Some victories in hero history feel less like celebrations and more like scars. Left behind in the aftermath is a child with a dangerous quirk and too many memories for someone her age. While hero society argues about what to do with her, two exhausted students quietly make a decision that will change all their lives. Nejire Hado refuses to let Eri face the world alone. Tamaki Amajiki isn't sure he's ready to be anyone's guardian-let alone a father-but he knows what Mirio would have done. Together, they give Eri something she's never had before: A home. A family.
