Tamara was a 15-year-old high school student. She got good grades, and she had a few close friends. But no one knew her truth. 2 years ago, Tamara lost both of her parents to a drug overdose. She had been left to survive on her own. She had been put in a homeless shelter after her parents' death since she didn't have any family that would take her in. But she had gotten some of her prize processions stolen from there, so she left. Now, she was living on the streets, making friends with the people around her and finding scraps of food from the diner dumpsters. Angela Lopez was a 33-year-old detective who was living a good life. She had been married to Westley Evers for 3 years, and they had a handsome baby boy, Jackson Everett. But something felt like it was missing. Angela had always longed to be a girl mom, but the couple was having a hard time getting pregnant again. Angela refused to use IVF. She wanted it to come naturally. What happens when Angela comes across a homeless teen, who is in dire need of a motherly figure? How will the two interact? Will they get along? Will Tamara finally find her forever family?

She bounced from home to home when she was in foster care. After a few weeks Gianna went to the Evers family house and she was finally happy that she found a family that was right for her. Gianna grew close to the Evers siblings. Gianna had a really strong sibling bond with Katie and Wesley. After when Gianna graduated high school. She went to college to study doing police work. She wanted to be a cop to help people and kids who lost there parents when she was their age. After when Gianna graduated college. She went to the academy. When Gianna got to the academy she met her best friends. Lucy Chen, Jackson west and John Nolan. The four of them were inseparable from the day that they met. After Gianna graduated from the academy. She got accepted to the LAPD mid-wilshire patrol division station. She took the officer since she knew the watch commander was sergeant Wade Gray. The sergeant who found her parents killer. Plus gray and his wife Luna would always check in on the girl to see how she was doing. When Gianna meets her new train officer Tim Bradford. She starts to fall in love with him but she won't admit it. When Tim Bradford also falls in love with his rookie Gianna Sanchez. But he won't admit it either. Will they ever admit that they love each other? Or will they just act like they are friends.

They gave her two options, either abort the baby or give it in adoption or she could forget about them and the rest of the family and their support. Lucy immediately knew what to do... Nine months later, the brunette gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and as much as it hurt her she knew she couldn't keep her and gave her in adoption. A desicion she would regret for the rest of her life, as she grew older, Lucy tried searching for her kid with no successs. Who would have thought that 17 years later she would be reunited with her baby and her father?

It was so amazing how fast time went by, that was something that was always going to surprise Tim. It was impressive that 11 years had already passed since he lost his little girl and thus losing Isabel at the same time. Nobody knew, it wasn't their problem anyway, well... not until the case was reopened. Or Isabel and Tim had a daughter sixteen years ago who was kidnapped and never found, then presumed dead until a lead is found and the case reopened

John wakes up in a hospital, but to his surprise he had actually been in a coma for the last seven years and all the events of him being in the LAPD never actually happened. He had been shot in the head during the bank robbery and had never really existed to the LAPD's standards
