Ninad Sequiera boards the college bus as usual, but when he exits the bus, he finds that the college is not as it's seems. In fact, the entire world seems..... Off. The world around him has become a deteriorating reflection of reality, as his college is built up entirely of fuzzy snapshots and broken memories, and a fractured Sun imposes decay upon the land. What's worse - the only person he recognises to be real, is the ever-elusive Nerida, and he just can't seem to catch up to her. And the only thing that seems to truly physically exist is the lone Tamarind tree in the college campus. Where is he? And why is Nerida the only person here? Why is the sun breaking apart? And what is the purpose of the tree?

🌳 Story: "The Lesson Under the Tamarind Tree" In a quiet Bangladeshi village, near the dusty road, stood an old tamarind tree. Its wide branches offered shade to everyone - farmers resting after work, children playing marbles, and old folks sharing stories. One afternoon, little Rima sat beneath the tree with her grandfather, a wise man named Karim Ali. She held a piece of tamarind in her hand and made a funny face after tasting it. "Grandpa, why is it so sour? Doesn't it hurt your stomach?" she asked, curious. Karim chuckled softly. "Ah, my dear Rima, tamarind is sour, yes - but do you know it's also a healer?" He plucked a few tamarind pods from the branch above and began his story. "When I was young, I fell sick with fever. The village doctor told my mother to give me tamarind water. It cooled my body and brought the fever down. Tamarind is full of Vitamin C and antioxidants - it purifies the blood and helps digestion." Rima's eyes grew wide. "So it's like medicine?" she asked. Karim smiled. "If you eat too much tamarind, it can cause acidity, weaken your teeth, and lower your blood pressure. People with stomach ulcers or heartburn should avoid it. You see, moderation is the secret." The afternoon breeze blew gently through the leaves, carrying the scent of ripe tamarind. Rima quietly placed the tamarind seed into the soil near her feet. "I'll plant a new tree, Grandpa," she said. "And I'll remember what you said - every good thing must be taken in balance." 🌿 Health Benefits of Tamarind: 1️⃣ Improves digestion 2️⃣ Reduces cholesterol 3️⃣ Purifies the blood 4️⃣ Boosts immunity 5️⃣ Keeps skin healthy and glowing 6️⃣ Helps control fever and heat

This is a fanfic on the events after the Great Wave of Tamarind. Also I am a HUGE shipper of Helix and Maya. So if u don't like them together (since they aren't very official) then maybe this fanfic isn't rly for u. This happens right at the end, when Helix comes back to the Nelson's house and Maya sees him. SO enjoy. Warning: I haven't read the Tamarind series in a while, so the info might be a bit wrong at some times. A bit choppy, but i hope u like it :) Warning no. 2: None of these characters belong to me. All rights go to the fabulous Nadia Aguiar. The fanfic is mine tho.
