Set a little over 1,000 years before the actual movie. This is the story of Kahawai, a demigod who has had more than her fair share of trials. This includes being orphaned at 12, having her best friend for centuries turn on her, and falling for none other than Tamatoa, who she has more in common with than either of them think.
