A young woman who has had to deal with much disappointment and heartbreak in her life finds herself in an accident at sea and finds herself on a seemingly deserted island. Until she is confronted by a man that completely baffles her with his words and actions! He couldn't really be a demigod now, could he? There was no such thing as real Gods! Or was she the one mistaken?

An adventurous teenager sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana meets the once-mighty demigod Maui, who guides her in her quest to become a master way-finder. Together they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds. Along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she always sought: her own identity. PS: This book is basically re-telling the movie, so if you haven't watched it and choose to see the actual thing, I advice you NOT to read this. ENJOY!

Moana was just a normal sixteen year old attending high school and trying to survive day by day. She's also a loner with no friends and spends all of her time reading history books and relaxing by the ocean rather than socializing with anyone other than her parents and grandmother. It's not that she's antisocial, she just has a hard time relating to everyone else. Though, things change one day when the ocean somehow chooses her to find a demigod whom she's only ever heard of in legends. Will she ignore the call or take this opportunity to change her life forever?
