Gideon and his father move to Bud's hometown: Gravity Falls, Oregon. Gideon takes this opportunity to reunite with his childhood friend, Pacifica, and go to the same school as hers. Doesn't take too long for him to realise there's something more behind this little town, so he joins a school club and uses his new-found journal to embark in adventures with Pacifica, her friends and his new-made friends. During his research, he'd deal with school drama, supernatural creatures, a pair of mystical twins and a drama diva dorito. After everyone returned to their time they found themselves alone without dipper. At first they though he would just appear in a day or two. But he never came back. Everyone questioned this. Why do he not return? Did something happen? Did he forget the date or did something happen to him preventing him from returning. No one knows. While the others wonder where Dipper is Dipper is actually at the present time fighting off Bills forces that appearing round the globe. But dipper quickly learns he is no match for the dream demon in his current state. He needs something to give him an edge. He needs a magical item. After seeing a battle between two dream demons ford decides that they are going to follow this second dream demon and learn what is happening. Knowing the dream demon will need a magical item Ford determines that he'll be going for a fabled weapon in Europe. Will Dipper get the means necessary to defeat bill?Will the others learn what dipper did to obtain the power he wanted to fight bill? And are things as black and white as they seem? Dipper has been a loner all 4 years of Highschool, writing in his journal trying to find more mysteries in California just as he did in gravity falls but California isn't as exciting. He now has his own paranormal YouTube channel and blog where he documents any mystery he can find. He's gained a huge following on there and spends most of his time working on his channel and his journal even when Mabel asks him to go out to parties and such. Mabel is pretty popular around school as she's a social butterfly and makes a lot of friends but outside of school dippers her best friends like they've been since they were born. Over the past few years Mabel's had no problem with finding romance in good old California, boyfriends left and right but she's not looking to settle down anymore. Finally, summer comes, dipper and Mabel have finally graduated Highschool, dipper isn't more than happy,now he can spend all summer discovering paranormal activity for his channel. He finally decides this summer he's going back to the place that started his paranormal fascination, Gravity Falls. Mabel hears about this and convinces dipper to let her come along with him so she can relive the magic of her childhood and connect with old friends. Along his journey of Rediscovering the old mysteries of gravity falls he gets distracted by a certain blonde haired blue eyed lady, Will dipper find the mystery that he's looking for, Will he be able to open his mind to relationships?
