So my best friend is doing a 30 day writing challenge with one of our groups where she gives us five pictures to write off of, and I've decided to try and make every one of them a Tamora Pierce fanfic. Another of my friends suggested I post them, so...that's what I'm doing. I'm not going to use established characters in all of them, so at the end I'm going to try to have a list of which ones are and are not mine. If there are any clear spoilers that I need to give a warning for, I will. Most of the credit for this goes to Tammy though! Note: I'm posting this three days in, so I'm not sure if I'll get to do any Circle ones. I hope so, but I chose the Tortallan crest for the cover because I like it. Also, this is my first fanfic, so any constructive criticism is welcome 😅

Daine has settled comfortably into her life in the Kingdom of Tortall, but she is restless. With Numair gone to Carthak to aid in the battle against the murderous Emperor Ozorne, she needs a distraction. When Onua asks her to aid in bringing a herd of ponies that she purchased for the Queen's Riders from the Northern mountains of Galla to Tortall, Daine readily agrees. Little does she know what she is in for, when she falls ill and they are attacked by raiders. Will Alanna arrive in time to help rescue them? Set with my 3 favourite female characters of Tamora Pierce. Daine is fifteen in this story. ***

The Scanran war was coming to end. Keladry was put in charge of the new refugee base, New Hope, after her old base was destroyed. However, ever since coming back from fighting Balyce, Kel was plagued with nightmares. Her friends rallied behind her to help, but Kel started to bottle herself up, and she slowly started to turn back into her Yamani self. When her old Knightmaster, Raoul of Goldenlake, saw her deterioration, and he and the Third Company of the Own came to New Hope. It was when Kel talked with an old friend that she realized she wasn't the only one who was effected by this war. These characters and past story line belong to Tamora Pierce. A lady who wrote my favorite books.
