Tampered Stories

This is just a teaser of what is to come, there is much work to be done and this teaser is quite outdated in comparison, but why let a good teaser go to waste without further ado this is the first draft for the Franchise project Tempered Blood. How outdated is this? Well its outdated enough for me to post it and not be worried about spoilers. but, I hope you guys enjoy this first draft of what this world has to offer. Aria Mancini, the fiercely independent daughter of a rival mafia boss, has lived her life under the shadow of blood feuds and bulletproof lies. When her father is assassinated under mysterious circumstances, she suspects Luca Moretti, the cold and brutal heir to the Moretti empire-the same man responsible for burning her childhood home to the ground and killing her first love. As retaliation brews and Aria prepares to destroy the Morettis from within, a twisted deal forces her into Luca's world-and eventually into his bed. She plans to betray him. He plans to break her. "If you could become a human again, would you?" she asked me, looking at a notepad. "Hmm..." I tapped my chin, pretending that I needed to think about it. "Nope. Not in a hundred years," I said, smiling. "Being a creature that is called a 'Dread' sounds cool." "Would you ever want to meet one?" she asked, looking like my answer wouldn't interest her in the slightest. I sighed and leaned back into my chair. "It's not my decision whether or not I want to meet one, but I will eventually be forced to do so, won't I? After all, I'm turning nineteen in a few days and I'll have to meet one in order to get a job." The woman merely nodded and scribbled on her clipboard. "We're done here," she said, smiling.

What would you do if you lived in a generation of genetically engineered human beings? Only a part of an experiment, a wild project. Some may see it as a reawakening, some may have their humanity torn apart. What is left of the world we once knew is only blood and suffering. Could you survive being tampered?
