First of all I must state this: Please watch the TV series first because this story does not really make sense unless the reader has the context of the plot of the original series. This is an attempted rewrite of what happened in Rapunzel Tangled Adventure (specifically Season 3) but with some changes that I think would make the story better. However, because I am curious of the initial reception. This is merely a pilot story. This part of the story is merely the start of where this version of the story diverts from the series. The goal of this fanfiction is not to completely rewrite the story of Tangled The Series but merely to make minor changes to the plot so that it drastically improves the story and character while being as similar to the TV series as possible. My goal is that people can see this story and then see the TV series and view things differently. I was not really sure if this is a good idea so that is why I am just making this Pilot. So unless this story gains any traction, then this is where it ends but thanks for taking the time to read it. Admittedly, this is also just an attempt by myself to practice story writing and see how I can improve on my style of writing. [TEMP HIATUS] Updates: ~Weekly, unless stated otherwise (Or two weeks between the end of one episode and the start of another) In a rewatch of Keeper of the Spire one day, I had an idea. And that idea... that idea grew into a fanfic. 🧪 What if Hector broke Varian out of jail? What if Varian followed Rapunzel's group until they were attacked by the Kirlok at the Spire? (Calliope: It's pronounced "spire".) Now, Varian is traveling with Rapunzel's group and trying to atone for his actions. But this alchemist has many secrets, some that may threaten the safety of the group and their fragile trust in him. 🧪 This fic is inspired by Alchemist out of Corona by @ElizabethShelby and Blood of my Brother by @AMax76, but with my own spin on things! This is a novelization of season two (beginning partway through Keeper of the Spire), but slightly rewritten to include Varian in the gang's adventures!
