After Cassandra returns to Corona from her long journey, she reunites with her close friends and their son Flynn. On the night she returns, however, she discovers that the young prince was taken by a mysterious group who want to rule over Corona. With the help of the royal alchemist Varian, the two set off to save Flynn in the enchanted realm of Silvam. Written with Autumnm981.

Quirin has to find out what Varian did eventually. Varian also has to find out what Quirin did; who the brotherhood is, and why he's not a part of them anymore. The past, dreams, and reality, blend together more than some may think. (For all those who like Varian's canon redemption, but who are looking for some more could-be-canon angst.)

He blinked, his dilated eyes returning to focus, and began to realize where he was, or rather his lack of knowledge on his current location. Rated Mature for body horror, brief language, and psychological horror.
