Looking back on it, Jimmy blames the garden for everything that's happened. After all, that's where he found the box, which led to Deepfrost, which led to this whole spiral of backsliding further and further away from the warmth of life. It had all started simply enough- with a dungeon, and with a goal- and had, over time, meandered into a world of beasts and bosses and dangers that Jimmy never had fully been able to grasp until it was too late, until he learned what Deepfrost REALLY was. But, that's a little too close to the end of the story. Let's rewind things back to the start, back to the beginning of the game known as Deepfrost. Let's talk about the first runs, the first deadly encounters, the first small victories. Or . . . perhaps you should be left to discover that on your own. After all, Deepfrost is a game that prides itself in its own immersive experience . . . in more ways than one. --- Deepfrost is an AU that is a crossover of the games Inscryption (by Daniel Mullins) and Decked Out 2 (by Tango Tek). You don't need to know anything about either of these to enjoy this story. If you don't want spoilers for the level design of Decked Out 2 or the layout of Act 2 and some of the overarching lore of Inscryption, I would consider not reading this fic, or at least leaving it for later :]

A cult of brainwashed players. A rouge watcher that leads them. And their plans to invade a new server and take control. When Xisumavoid, the admin of Hermitcraft, is warned that a cult known as the Silver Sun is planning on invading his server, he must do everything he can to prevent the leader of the cult from slipping their influence into Hermitcraft. If they do, the Silver Sun will take hold, and their server could be lost to the watcher's control. Everything is on the line, as the hermits must endure the power of the Silver Sun, which only grows stronger every day. The past will be revealed. The present will be treacherous. The future will be changed. Either the hermits stand up and fight. Or they lose it all.

The Hermits going about their daily life when some of them find strange items that they can wear and choose to do so. A new Hermit appears and he seems to have amnesia and doesn't know or remember anything about himself nor how he got access to their world. Now he has to live in a new world with no memories and a strange red and blue wristband that he refuses to take of for some strange reason. One night while he sleeps, he enters The Grayscale World, a mystery dimension that looks exactly like the Hermitcraft world, except everything's in a gray color scheme, and finds a ghost figure who happens to know him but refuses to tell him anything about him. One day while Mumbo, Scar, and Grian were snooping around in the library and found a book with the name 'The files' on it, being the buttercup trio they are they started to read these files to find out more about their beloved admin, his past, and his second family while dragging some of the hermits and others into it as well. Will this end well..? :)

Jimmy was inside Ravenger Records, shuffling through a stack of CDs, when he heard a squawk followed by a comically loud thud a few stores down. Hand ready on the handle of his bat, Jimmy crept low on the floor and headed towards the front door, where he waited. When the footsteps got close enough, he rounded the corner and swung.
