Looking back on it, Jimmy blames the garden for everything that's happened. After all, that's where he found the box, which led to Deepfrost, which led to this whole spiral of backsliding further and further away from the warmth of life. It had all started simply enough- with a dungeon, and with a goal- and had, over time, meandered into a world of beasts and bosses and dangers that Jimmy never had fully been able to grasp until it was too late, until he learned what Deepfrost REALLY was. But, that's a little too close to the end of the story. Let's rewind things back to the start, back to the beginning of the game known as Deepfrost. Let's talk about the first runs, the first deadly encounters, the first small victories. Or . . . perhaps you should be left to discover that on your own. After all, Deepfrost is a game that prides itself in its own immersive experience . . . in more ways than one. --- Deepfrost is an AU that is a crossover of the games Inscryption (by Daniel Mullins) and Decked Out 2 (by Tango Tek). You don't need to know anything about either of these to enjoy this story. If you don't want spoilers for the level design of Decked Out 2 or the layout of Act 2 and some of the overarching lore of Inscryption, I would consider not reading this fic, or at least leaving it for later :]

XisumaVoid, he's been the admin of Hermitcraft for quite some time now. He's had many people join (and a few leave) the server. The Watchers and Listeners, they're the beings that guide and help players and admins. Sure, the Watchers are cruel at times, but that's why they have the kinder Listeners. They're there to keep each other in check while keeping the worlds. Xisuma knows that they are good overall, though. But when he gets a strange dream where the Primals warn him of his Hermits, he thinks they must be crazy. Sure, Zedaph could be a bit freaky about his "experiments" sometimes, or Grian could get a bit too into a conflict at times. But from Xisuma's oldest to his newest members, they were all good spirits. And, the Primals warning Xisuma about his own BROTHER too? How can he trust them? And how can he believe some of the outrageous things he learns about his Hermits? But who can he trust? Whose side? Mumscarian week, day 5: "Polyamory." Grian and Mumbo go to visit Jimmy and Scott, while Scar stays on Hermitcraft to bother Tango. Apparently all three of them have questions about polyamory and (accidentally) talk about it to the ones in such a relationship. Although they're unaware of the other's thoughts and feelings, they all decide to take the leap and confront each other. Aka, Jimmy has to deal with pesky Grian, Scott tricks Mumbo into talking and Tango really wishes Scar would just leave him be.

Sequel to Elusion. After the desperate battle with the Watchers, Grian decides to continue the Life Series, but this time on his own terms. The clock starts to tick down, and those willing have to fight to survive. What if Grian had refused to join the Bad Boys, instead joining team TIES? What if Martyn had joined the Bad Boys? Leaving Scott all alone? Two twists of fate, destined to change the course of the story. Old foes try to rise once again, threatening everything they thought they knew. With interferences by the game masters and deep rifts of hatred and mistrust, who will win?

Sequel to Freaks book 1. Even though they've rescued Tango and now have a sure way to rescue more people, the trouble is just brewing for the new guardians. Grian's wing is broken, Martyn keeps acting strange, old wounds reopen, and struggles are constant. But together they can rise above it, right?

So this story is basically just like a third life hunger games au type thing. Also updates will probably be totally inconsistent cause I cant follow a schedule for the life of me. Anyways hope you like it!
