So, basically, this is a Tanjiro x OC story, where Akari Hoshiko is Tanjiro's fiancée. Akari Hoshiko has lived with the Kamado family since she was 9 years old, hiding her true identity. Tanjiro proposed when she was 11 years old and he was 12 (please don't judge; I searched, and it was normal back in the day). Then one day, the Kamado family was suddenly killed by Muzan Kibutsuji, the demon king, as a threat to Akari. Nezuko was turned into a demon, and Akari drowned in guilt and self-hatred. Tanjiro noticed Akari acting weird and didn't know what was wrong until she told him who she really was.
