A story where soulmates are connected together by a red string that's wrapped around their left ring finger. As a kid, Hinata was always curious about where the other end of the thin red thread that wrapped around his finger was. He felt it tug every so often, but he was never actually met with many results when he followed the pulls. In his second year of middle school, he'd just about given up on finding the other end of the thread. He almost always ignored it and was even tempted to cut it once, though just as he went to slice it, he caved in and put the scissors back on his desk. He focused on other things, such as his grades and his all-time favorite, volleyball. His middle school didn't have much of a club though, sadly. Until his third year there, it was only him. A few first years ended up joining the team and he somehow convinced a couple of his friends to join. That year, Hinata finally went to his first game. The closer he got to the facility, the tighter the thread felt around his finger, the stronger the pull he felt. He was excited, but that soon died down when he was met with his what was on the other end of the string; an emotionless, tyrannical boy who didn't even seem to pay any mind to Hinata, ignoring the fact that they had the same line of red trailing from one finger to the others. Upon reaching Highschool, Hinata was met with that same face. He didn't know if he could bear being around the other, knowing that he was deliberately ignoring their connection. Red Cliff American Bistro is a collection of regional American Poetry. I generally write form micropoetry like haiku, tanka, and sijo among other forms. However, I also write longer pieces. This collection does not have a particular theme, but like other poets I end up writing about several common interests. As time goes, I am sure patterns will emerge.
