1692 - Strange happenings have begun occurring in little hope. Some believe that it's the workings of witches, while others believe it to be caused by a mere child wanting attention. And the rest? They believe it's the vengeful spirit of the reverend's wife, Madeleine Carver, coming back to haunt them all. 1972 - Marilyn Roberts was a good girl. She got good grades and was fairly adored by everyone for her girlish looks and cheerful personality. She had a good life, that is, until the night that the Clarke family home burned down. She wasn't supposed to be there when it happened, being one of the sole survivors of the tragedy that took the life of the family she both respected and dared to call friends. 2021 - Marissa Cooper is a college student going on a field trip with her creative writing class. All is well until the bus driver crashes the bus in a town known as Little Hope. Now, along with her four classmates and professor, Marissa must escape the town as she faces nightmares and the strange happenings of 1692.
