Hundun (混沌), representing "Primordial Chaos" or the "Four Perils" in Chinese mythology, is a conceptual deity often depicted as a faceless, six-legged, four-winged being. As a personification of chaos, Hundun generally lacks dedicated, mainstream temples.
While researching an archeological site in the Tian Shan Mountain range in Xinjiang in North Western China, Ding Linlong discovers a forgotten god of mischief,a red, sack-like, six-legged, four-winged, faceless being surrounded by musical instruments.
The Shanhaijing (Classic of Mountains and Seas) places a god known as Dijiang (帝江), who is identified with Hundun, on Tian Shan.
