Remembering is harder than forgetting. Tara Hale was the kind of girl that couldn't care about anything but her family until she fell in love with Scott McCall. And as basically the "Mrs. Alpha" of the pack, without being an Alpha, she is now always lending a helping hand to Stiles Stilinski, Lydia Martin, Liam Dunbar, Mason Hewitt, Hayden Romero, Cory Bryant, and of course her cousin Malia Tate. That is until she is forced to forget Stiles because of the Ghost Riders and the Wild Hunt. Now the pack has to do everything they can in order to remember, including bringing back Theo Raeken, and working with both him and Tara's uncle Peter Hale, the one who had tried to kill her more than once. Could there be some kind of familial reconciliation between Tara, Malia and Peter when they have to work together in order to defeat the Hunt? --- And when the town of Beacon Hills turns against the supernatural creatures, including all of the pack and Tara herself, her brother Derek Hale comes back to lend a helping hand. Will all of our favorite supernatural friends make it out alive?

Stacie Stilinski is trying to find an anchor as a way to lessen the pain of being an anchor of three people, and certain slightly tempting situations force her into finding an anchor soon. Ari Martin is no longer with Isaac, but is willing to believe that everything will become right again when she gets a chance to do something she's been wanting to do for a long time, reviving herself. Tara Hale is freshly out of being imprisoned by the Calaveras, an experience that allows her to rethink her relationship with Scott, trying to make everything better. Natalie Lahey is reforming herself back into the Natalie we knew and loved before Boyd died now that her brother is gone, she has a new job, and possibly a new love interest that she doesn't know what to do with. Adriana Martin is willing to put a hold to reviving herself to help the best of her friends revive themselves. Angelique "Angel" Fain was introduced last book/season. She's a supernatural creature, but she doesn't know which kind. Her relationship with Kira is messy and complicated, mostly due to the fact she's addicted, and that her parents don't trust her or what Kira to be around her. She's sassy, care-free, but sweet and caring at the same time. She's independent and is a skater :) You don't know her.

Tara Hale is a lot different from the Tara that we've known. She is not as angry as she used to be. She still has all of the problems that she used to have, but not to that extent. She thinks that she has gone soft, but she can easily become the old Tara that we know if she's pushed too far. She and Scott are stronger than ever. She's discovering new abilities, and new powers, and she now knows how to fight thanks to Jordan Parrish, but she is terrified of not knowing what she is and what she's capable of. Chayton Ruelle is the would-be bad boy until he's targeted by the Dread Doctors to become a Chimera, brought back to life by Theo.
