A humorous crime story set in steampunk 1920's about a thief investigating another theif caught in a web of trust and betrayals Rooks is an egotistical criminal who kills ruthlessly, gets paid to ruin businesses, steals, and is obsessive over puzzles. For some reason the author chose him as the main character of the story, a Quentin Tarantino-esque story that twists and turns around lies, deceit, greed, and self motivated characters, all with their own intersecting agendas. Set during the early 1920's in a steampunk city called Heatherberg. Not real. Obviously.

ANNOUNCEMENT: i'm closing this book due to further abuse allegations surfacing on Brad Pitt against his wife and children. On one slow day at work, he falls asleep, waking up to find that demons have attacked his town. Recruited by a group of high school students, can Chandler and his new friends take on these creatures and save the day?
