Seventh year has finally rolled around for Tara Tonks and her friends and she's ready to take this final year head on-after last year she's just ready to move on, face the future. However, she soon becomes aware that this year she will have to face her past instead, and who she used to be, face to face. Some things don't stay buried. Sirius is back. And he knows. The walls are repeating. All her life, her name-her identity-has been lost behind secrets and vows. Ones that stuffed her mouth cotton.

Tara Tonks, aged sixteen, is about to head into her sixth year at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry with her best friends. This year a new school event is taking place, that might just do more than help her to brush up on her French. This year she will learn how to trust her gut, expect the unexpected, grieve and navigate relationships. Her eye has been on a certain Gryffindor friend of hers for some time but will this year be the year she finally comes clean and just bloody well tells him? What would happen if the most reckless ad bold Gryffindor found a way into this patient and observant Hufflepuff's heart? Or has it already happened? CW: there is occasionally swearing, not a lot maybe once every five chapters if not less :) Takes place during the GOF (Book 1) This is an old story of mine from about four years ago I have rewritten :)
