After seeking medical advice, he is diagnosed with Huntington's disease, a progressive condition that will affect his mind and body over time. As TK faces the reality of his diagnosis, the story explores his emotional struggle and how he learns to accept Carlos's unwavering love and support. Carlos and TKs relationship begins as nothing but a hook up, eventually they progress into a relationship, but it's not as smooth sailing as they believe it will be.

"You still up?" TK smiles as he hears the voice over the phone. He switches the phone to the other ear as he checks the time on his watch. It's just after midnight. "Yes I am still up. I just got off my shift." "You want to come over?" Carlos asks. TK bites his lip in order to hold back a smile. "I can be there in 10 minutes."
