What if Thor was not the son of Odin who was sent to earth in the aftermath of events on Jotunheim? As penance for his crimes, Loki is banished to Midgard - powerless and completely mortal. Still coming to terms with the truth of his heritage, Loki must set aside his pride and seek alliances where he can find them. Darcy Lewis may be insufferable, but at least she is willing to help. Darcy, on the other hand, is dealing with her own family issues after discovering she's adopted. But perhaps befriending a self-proclaimed god will help distract her from her problems? Or it will get her into even more trouble than Jane ever did. Six college credits is looking less and less worth it every day.

Finding a passed out amnesiac god in her backyard is not something Darcy Lewis wanted to do. With no knowledge of his bitter past, Darcy figured Loki couldn't be that bad and decided to take him under her wing. In her journey filled full of sarcasm, tears, tasers and migraines, will she learn to love Loki? Or will Loki find out about his past and return to his villainous ways?
