The story revolves around the life of an upper class Gujarati family, the Sarabhais, who live in a luxury apartment building in the upmarket Cuffe Parade area of South Mumbai. The family consists of Indravadan Sarabhai (Satish Shah) and his wife Maya (Ratna Pathak), who live in an apartment with their younger son Rosesh (Rajesh Kumar). Their older son Sahil (Sumeet Raghavan) and his wife Monisha Sarabhai (Rupali Ganguly) née Manisha Singh live in the apartment across the hallway. Maya considers the name Manisha middle class and renames her Monisha before their marriage. Monisha's middle-class habits irk Maya. Monisha, on the other hand, does not appreciate Maya's snooty and snobbish behaviour. Indravadan constantly derides Roshesh for being tied to his mother's apron strings and for writing bad poetry. Maya and Roshesh consider Indravadan's attitude towards Rosesh and his gregarious nature boorish. The ensuing conflict and comedy becomes Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. Much of the humour is derived from the fake, artificial and shallow interactions among the city's elite and their perceived notions of the shortcomings and failings of middle-class society.

There are always some lines , some thoughts , some emotions that can't be shared with everyone. So, it's better to pen down. There are always some people for whom we are grateful. In my life , I have some but unable to express my actual feelings. So, it's better to pen down. I have some different experiences and thoughts that I am going to share. 💓💓💓

There was a time when we all wished to grow up and explore life. We wanted to have fun, wanted freedom and wished to live life on our own terms. But as we grew up, we realized that the grass is always greener on the other side. So this poem is for all those readers out there who agree with the fact that childhood days have no replacement and for those who at a point in life wish for those days to come back.

I love you and marrying the one you love isn't a crime' reply Ragini with pale face but hope in eyes that maybe he'll understand her love for him .. ' oh yeah you're so called love which ruin my life . wow ragini you are so great just for your ' love' you destroy my life' he say this in sarcastic way as his ego is hurting seeing her .. ' you'll learn to love me laksh . I know things are messed up now but it soon-' she got cut off by him who say ' how can someone ever be able to love you when your own mother couldn't do that ! Face it ragini you are meant to be loveless' saying this he leave the room breaking her heart .. Will love find it's way??

Away from the city or inside it,we can definitely find a tea stall. The tea hawker whether it be day or night or summer or winter is always ready with his welcoming voice to serve us tea. My poetry,"Behind a cup of bitter tea" represents a situation where the tea hawker is slanged for making bitter tea. Clever humans forget that he is also a human and bitter tea is not an option,it is a mistake. This poetry highlights the sympathy of a father as a tea hawker.
