After successfully travelling home from the lake known as the Cauldron of Arianrhod and successfully breaking Morgana’s twisted control Guinevere with using the guise as the old woman known as ‘Dolma’, Merlin finds he is yet again faced with another problem…this time involving the King of Camelot. It seems as though whilst in the lake, Arthur succumbed to an enchantment which has resulted in him falling head over heels for Dolma! So how can Merlin possible restore the equilibrium back to Camelot when he has to hide the true identity of Dolma from Arthur, find a way to break the enchantment, keep no one from discovering the king’s not-so-secret crush? Disclaimer: I DO NOT own BBC Merlin or any of the characters in it (despite how hard I may say I do ; D). The protagonist of this short story is Erik Ulvblod, who right after he made an oath to an elven Warden, travels to East into the Kingdom of Selas to fulfill his mission. Knowing that his journey won't be smooth, he asks some help from his old friend Maximilian - who is the prince of the kingdom by the way - to find one of his lost mates. Time is not on Erik's side: while he's searching for the key to accomplish his task, a purge initiates on the land of Ionganaid: the towns inhabited by northern druids (aka 'veiivi') fell victim to an unknown evil one by one. Erik has to run away from his fate while every step he takes leads him closer to it: he is a veiivi too, who has no idea what or who will hunt him throughout his journey.
